Andrea Simmons, MS, RDN, LDN
Nutrition Therapist | Certified Life Coach
Andrea is passionate about helping people connect more deeply with their bodies and heal their relationship with themselves. Her work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each individual’s lived experience. Through nutrition therapy and evidence-based coaching, Andrea strives to create a supportive, empowering space where clients feel seen, understood, and capable of meaningful change. Her aim is to go beyond food to explore the whole person, supporting sustainable goals related to health, confidence, and wellbeing.
Andrea’s perspectives are shaped by a background in education. She has worked with kids ages pre-K through 12 and their families for the past 12 years. This work and her own personal experiences led her to return to school to earn her Master’s in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Memphis. She brings her love of education to nutrition therapy and is skilled at meeting clients where they are, communicating complex information in accessible ways, and supporting family systems with care and patience.
In addition to nutrition training, Andrea holds a Life Coaching certification from The Life Coach School, which enhances her ability to help clients build self-awareness, resilience, and trust in their bodies as they navigate medical and dietary challenges.
As a parent of four children, Andrea understands firsthand the complexities of feeding individuals and families with diverse needs. This personal and professional experience fuels her dedication to help clients foster flexibility, confidence, and a more peaceful relationship with food and self.
Andrea’s areas of focus include:
Food Allergies
Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE)
Celiac Disease
Eating Disorder & Disordered Eating
Family & Child Nutrition Support
Body Connection & Self-Relationship Healing
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys playing board games with her family, cozy moments in fuzzy socks, and getting lost in the world of Jane Austen’s novels. She finds joy and grounding in nature—especially when chasing waterfalls—and values creating space for rest, reflection, and connection.
